We are so excited to watch each of these puppies’ personalities unfold and to begin matching them with their perfect families at six weeks of age. This litter is expected to have beautiful curly or wavy coats, with black noses and rich, dark eyes. When fully grown, we anticipate they will mature around 55–60 pounds. These puppies will be loyal, affectionate companions with non-shedding coats and wonderful, stable temperaments.

We can’t wait to watch their personalities bloom and to match them with their perfect families. These puppies will have either curly or wavy coats with liver noses and light eyes. We anticipate they will be 45/55 pounds when fully grown.
As we bid farewell to 2024, we can’t help but look back on the incredible journey Pasatiempo Ranch has taken us on. It’s been a year filled with love, laughter, and lots of furry friends!
One of the highlights of our year was the arrival of our adorable Saint Berdoodle litter of 10. Watching those precious puppies grow and thrive was a true joy.
We’re thrilled to have placed 17 puppies in 2024! Our puppies went to amazing families all across Texas and to seven other states bringing happiness and companionship to families far and wide.
Of course our days and years are not just about the puppies – it’s about the love and care we provide for all our furry babes. This year, we’ve spent countless hours grooming, cuddling, and playing with our dogs. We’ve also been busy working on new puzzles and introducing dog exercises to keep their minds and bodies active.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work improving our facilities. We’ve added new structures, revamped the puppy yard, and even re-routed our fencing to create a safer and more enjoyable environment for our dogs.
As we reflect on the past year, we’re grateful for the many families we’ve met and the opportunities we’ve had to deliver new furry family members to their forever homes. It’s been an absolute pleasure to share our passion for dogs with so many wonderful people.
As we look to the new year, we’re excited to see what’s in store for Pasatiempo Ranch. We’re already making plans for new litters, new projects, and new ways to provide the best possible care for our beloved dogs.

Happy December yall! It’s the last month of 2024 so we really want it to count. Today we celebrate three milestones! Our Originals litter of 2020 turned four! (Happy birthday)! Today is the anniversary of our Calliope Jane’s gotcha day! She is our first doodle and she is the one who started us down the dood journey path. As our foundation girl she has given us amazing litters and we adore having her in our family. Our third celebration for today was sending Maui to his forever home. He is the last puppy from our only litter of 2024 to go home and we are so thrilled that each one of the 10 found their matches!

This year we had the birth of our first F1b Saint Berdoodle litter. They were born in May and were the only litter born here at Pasatiempo Ranch in 2024. It was a year we wanted to hold back on producing puppies and really work on training and deciding where our program direction is going. While we may not have had lots of puppies born here this year we were always very busy!
We have lots of big plans for 2025 and the puppies who we are planning for. Our goal is not only to design amazing little additions to your family but also to produce service and therapy pups as well as companion animals to those who so desperately need assistance in daily routines and life in general. We love the learning and educating others aspect of dogs and raising them. The ins and outs and the ups and downs of everyday life as well as just creating a better dog. Oftentimes we hear specific breeding terms thrown out with no explanation so we wanted to take a bit of time to explain what we are talking about when you hear this term.
Each day we perform ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) exercises during this early developmental phase from days 3-16. The benefits we’ve found while raising our litters over the years include:
*Introduces puppies to mild stresses in a controlled way.
*Improves stress responses in later life.
*Stimulates the neurological system.
*Improves puppies’ growth, immune and cardiovascular systems.
*It helps puppies with their nose awareness and confidence. It enhances their ability to identify and react to scents.
Studies show that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results and we are confident this approach makes for better puppies!
Day 7
We absolutely notice a difference in puppies raised on a program like ours compared to a pup we bring in from an outside program that may not have had the same early interventions. When we first began our journey raising puppies we knew most importantly we wanted to create heart healers and if we also produced service or therapy pups along the way it would just be an added bonus.
We are proud to really know our pups and since we interact with them daily from birth we know their strengths and weaknesses. There’s much to learn about pups by just observing them daily. We’ve been doing this for a bit and feel we are skilled at reading dog body language and watching their behaviors.
Our goal has always been to send home a well adjusted, intelligent and healthy puppy to families where they are forever loved and doted on. We have been fortunate to send home puppies throughout the years that we believe are successful due to the early intervention they receive here at Pasatiempo Ranch along with the amazing and diligent training and love they receive from you when they go to their furever houses.

The puppies will be a week old tomorrow! ALREADY! They are having daily weight gains which we are super happy about. Their Mama Winnie is doing an amazing job caring for them. She keeps the whelping box spotless and the puppies are never too far away from her. Winnie is a cuddler so she balls up while they nurse and they are just surrounded by her warm body and love. It’s so special and sweet.
We have received a few applications for this litter and taken a few FaceTimes calls so that people can “meet” the puppies and see them in their newborn environment. We are always happy to chat with you about our program and if you’re interested in a puppy please reach out. Our reservation fee is $250 and we accept Venmo or Cashapp; you can also pay through gooddog using a credit card. The reservation fee holds your spot in line for puppy picks which we do at six weeks.
At six weeks we evaluate each puppy for things like confidence level, temperament, touch tolerance, energy levels etc. At that time we discuss with you which puppy might be the best fit for your family! We love this method because it gives you more information than just looking at that cute curly or fluffy baby and saying THIS is the one for me. The reason that can set up a puppy for failure is for many reasons. If you are working away from home for eight hours per day we wouldn’t want to pair you with a puppy that cannot stand to be in a room without a human. In the same respect if you have little children we want to make sure you bring home a pup who has a high touch tolerance. If your family is active we don’t want to necessarily send home the biggest couch potato in the litter!
We love for you to watch our daily content online and get a feel for the puppies and their personalities and then at the six week mark we put all the information we’ve gathered along with your input together and you’ve got yourself a fabulous new family member two weeks later! That’s the BEST part!

We wanted to take a little space on our blog to educate you on doodles and misconceptions that come along with the wavy vs curly battle. Our current available litter is a multigenerational Goldendoodle. Our Mama Winnie was born here and is a second generation Goldendoodle. She has a beautiful wavy coat that requires weekly brushing but she does not ever shed.
Most people think that the generation of their doodle and the coat their pup will have are linked. Many people are looking for F1’s because they want a wavy look or F1b because they want curly coats. The truth is we have owned and been breeding doodles enough to help guide you to the coat you’re wanting regardless of the generation. We have dogs from the same litters who share the same parents yet have completely different coat types.
Technology is so advanced we can produce wavy or curly coats in multigens and they still remain non or less shedding than your average dog. Scientists have discovered the gene for shedding is not curl – it’s actually based on coat length and furnishings. We focus on pairs that will produce those genetics.
Our task is to pair you to the litter or pup that will produce the coat you are looking for. We are here to share our knowledge and help to match you to a lifelong floofy companion – please know that we are happy to answer any questions you have regarding our dogs and puppies! Xoxo
We are so happy to announce our beautiful Winnie x Swayze litter of Multigenerational Goldendoodles. Winnie was born here at Pasatiempo Ranch to our foundation dogs Calliope Jane and Alfie. This pairing has been years in the making and we are BEYOND thrilled with these precious little floofs that are sure to make our Christmas 2023 unforgettable!
One day old
We have three sweet little boys and one princess. We do have availability in this litter so please reach out with a text or fill out an application and we will happily explain to you how our program works and we of course love to FaceTime with our prospective families so you can “meet” us and the puppies. All of our dogs live here at our home so you can see both parents and puppy grandparents. Winnie & Swayze
Winnie & Swayze have been best friends since the day we brought Swayze into our home. He is an adorably sweet boy who never barks and loves to cuddle up with pillows and kittycats. He doesn’t have a bad bone in his body – we are always in awe of his pure goodness. Swayze baby can oftentimes be found following Winnie’s Dad Alfie around and copying whatever he is doing at the time. It’s very cute. Winnie is an amazing girl who is quite similar to her Mom. She absolutely adores being groomed which is something we do lots of since we keep her in a longer cut. Surprisingly enough her ears and tail are not genetically pink – we keep those brightly colored and she loves the extra attention she gets from them. She loves to go to the mall and she also has never turned down a trip to Starbucks for a pupcup. She is also an amazing emotional support companion for our family.

Puppy dogs. We do so love them don’t we?! We have a plethora of puppies currently and we really want them to end up in amazing doodle homes. Each babe has a specific personality and trait that makes them special. Our puppies are vet checked, have current vaccines, they are microchipped and they go home with one month of complimentary pet insurance. Our puppy bags consist of a few toys, a blanket, food and vitamin samples. We also offer lifetime support – we are always a text away for your questions.
